  • What do your contributions support?
During the 2015-2016 fiscal year, 83% of EEF’s total expenditures were spent on direct program services, 10% for fundraising, and 7% for operations and management.

We strive very hard to ensure that the maximum amount of all donations received go directly to EEF’s programs, program services, and delivery of program services. We are diligent about following best practices for non-profit organization administration and annually conduct an outside audit of our finances by an independent auditing and CPA firm. Unless requested otherwise, 10% of donations of $1,000 or more made to EEF for specifically designated programs – Focus on Vision, EEF Shoe Shopping, Interscholastic Scholarships, Hearing Fund, and Classroom Grants – go toward the cost of administrating those programs including application verification, communications, program operations, and program staffing.
