Students in line for kitchen classroom

John B. Wright School Enrichment Project

This project began in 2012 with the construction of a school garden. After the first crops of food were harvested, donors installed a kitchen classroom where parents can participate in healthy eating workshops to learn to cook vegetables harvested at the school garden. In 2015, a walking path was installed on the school campus for use by both students and residents in the neighborhood.

TUSD Family Resource Centers

Recognizing that family and community engagement is a critical component of success for every student enrolled in TUSD, the District has designed each of its Family Resource Centers to promote engagement by serving as a one-stop-shop for families to learn about and access community resources. Non-profit grant funding awarded to the Centers is held by EEF in a Fiscally Sponsored account for Centers to access to support the needs of the Centers.

"I cannot thank EEF enough for your incredibly generous donation (of art supplies)!  I felt like a kid in a candy shop and you really made my day!"
