Sallie is a native Arizonan and brings her enthusiasm and continuous pursuit of expanding and enriching student learning in the Tucson Unified School District. As a Pima County volunteer, she enjoyed sharing a love of nature and the Sonoran Desert with the Environmental Education youth programs at Agua Caliente Park. She brings her non-profit experience as a Volunteer Coordinator and Development Associate at SAAF (Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation) to EEF and looks forward to utilizing her wealth of knowledge and experience to support EEF and its mission.
Sallie has been married to her loving husband Matthew for 29 years and has one son. She enjoys practicing yoga and hiking the spectacular Sonoran Desert.
