EEF appreciates and values the diversity within Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). We strive to be inclusive and representative of the TUSD community in all that we do, including our organizational governance, staffing, and the implementation of our programs. We work to ensure all TUSD students, staff, and teachers, including those with marginalized identities, have the opportunity to grow, contribute, and succeed.

Dawn Bell
Executive Director
Dawn is a visionary focused on strategic development of the organization in an effort to attain her dream of equitable access to quality education for all children. She greets each new day as an opportunity to make a positive impact in TUSD.
Drisana Ross
Program Manager
Drisana is a team player whose strengths are empathy, strategy and collaboration. She is overjoyed to be able to help uplift the kiddos within TUSD. As a TUSD graduate, she is passionate about giving back to the community that educated her.
Kristen Lamott
Development Manager
Kristen is driven by a passion for fostering meaningful connections and strengthening our TUSD community through the initiatives and achievements of EEF. She is committed to building partnerships, engaging with donors, and supporting programs that enhance educational opportunities for students, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
Sallie Muse
Administrative Specialist
Sallie is a native Arizonan who brings her enthusiasm and dedication to serving the Tucson Unified students and community. Sallie's commitment to EEF & our mission to serve TUSD students is a pillar to our small but mighty team. She enjoys practicing yoga and hiking the spectacular Sonoran Desert.
Samuel Deustua
Program Assistant
Sam is a hard worker committed to helping uplift students and educators in the TUSD community. Sam is overjoyed to be a part of the spectacular EEF team and to help in achieving EEF’s dream of equitable access to quality education for all students. Sam is a devoted father of three, who enjoys gardening, hiking, and sports with his sons.
